Chak·ra n. One of the seven centres of spiritual energy in the human body according to yoga philosophy.

Trying to discover the name of a more unusual semi precious gemstone I came upon information surrounding gemstones and how through history have been used for their healing power. Each type of gemstone has a unique crystalline structure, which vibrates at a particular rate creating its individual properties. Gemstones relate to each chakra and aid in aligning and balancing the energy centres of the body.
