"Issreeallyniiiice"

"Issreeallyniiiice" - "It's really nice", I repeat with gritted teeth.

This word has its origin in a McEvil advert, I don't want to say too much about this advert as I am pretty sickened by the company and don't in anyway want to cause any kind of positive promotion for them, however their latest advert promotes the new breakfast bagel range in which an office worker proclaims about his breakfast bagel, in the most irritating fashion, "Issreeallyniiiice"...............doubtful.

"Chernobyl"

Chernobyl - Is a city in northern Ukraine, near the border with Belarus. It was a major communications node and important centre of trade and commerce, especially in 19th century. The city is located 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, notoriously known for the Chernobyl accident. The Chernobyl accident occurred on April 26th,1986, at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine (then part of the Soviet Union). It is regarded as the worst nuclear accident in the history of nuclear power. It produced a plume of radioactive debris that drifted over parts of the western Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, and Scandinavia. Large areas of Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia were contaminated, resulting in the evacuation and resettlement of roughly 200,000 people. About 60% of radioactive fallout landed in Belarus. The accident raised concerns about the safety of the Soviet nuclear power industry, slowing its expansion for a number of years, while forcing the Soviet government to become less secretive. The now-separate countries of Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus have been burdened with continuing and substantial costs for decontamination and health care because of the Chernobyl accident. It is difficult to tally accurately the number of deaths caused by the events at Chernobyl — estimates range from hundreds to hundreds of thousands. The issue is still heavily disputed, and the long-term effects are not yet completely understood.

"Poinsettia"

Poin·set·ti·a: A tropical American shrub (Euphorbia pulcherrima) that has showy, usually scarlet bracts beneath the small yellow flowerlike inflorescences.

It's about the time of year when a kindly given Christmas Poinsettia meets its brown and droopy end. That is unless you have given it undivided attention, love and water, in which case you still have a week.

"Ter-wit-ter-woo"

"Ter-wit-ter-woo", clearly this is not a real word but is however a personal development of the more common sound discription an owl makes "Twit Twoo". I'm not entirely sure why it's in my mind today, my two explanations would be either 1. I live in a house surrounded by outbuildings with very noisey nocturnal ter wit ter wooers or 2. I remembered today my close encounter with an owl at 6:50am on Christmas eve coming off the M3 onto the A303 heading to the Westcountry for Christmas........Ter-wit-ter-woo!

"Savanavanavich"

"Savanavanavich" Peter Serafinowicz, genius comic man of funny programmes such as "Look around you" and "Spaced" and star of zombie film "Shaun of the Dead".

"Savanavanavich" stems from my total inability to remember Peter Serafinowicz' surname when necesssity requires me to do so. So now he is referred to as, "you know, Savanavanavich, from look around you". I should really try to remember it properly, since he is brilliant. I'm saying the word today as I have watched "Shaun of the Dead"....again.
